Originally established in 1967 as a Financial Services and General Insurance Broker the company ceased acting as a financial advisor to concentrate on general insurance in 1993. As part of the Mill House Group Colliers focused mainly on commercial lines business during the mid to late 1990's both retailing direct to clients and also wholesaling exclusive products to other Brokers. Colliers retail division came under its present ownership in April 2000 following a successful management buy out.

 Our strategy is to expand Colliers by growth of our client portfolios and continued steady expansion is expected for the foreseeable future. Our independence enables us to be strictly autonomous in our business decisions, which reinforces our stability and commitment to our clients. To achieve this the company presently consists of two focused trading divisions those being commercial & personal lines, both of these teams are dedicated to providing a professional and friendly service and the interest of our clients is paramount.

Colliers operate from premises in Welling, Kent, which are uniquely placed for access to the Motorway and Train networks. London Bridge is only 20 minutes from our office and Luton Airport is just over an hour away. By design we only operate from one office as this allows us to focus our resources and ensure our service standards for our clients.
